Terms of Service — The terms that apply when you create an account and use Treldy, including your responsibilities and ours.
This changelog — You’re reading it: a running record of what’s new in Treldy, now published on the site so you can see what’s changed without digging through release notes.
Payroll and GST fixes
Two accuracy fixes: one in payroll, one in your GST reporting.
Fixed: editing an employee could get blocked by their own TFN — Because we only ever show you a masked Tax File Number (e.g. ***456) for security, saving an employee’s details without retyping it was incorrectly treated as an invalid TFN. You can now save changes without having to re-enter it — the existing TFN is kept automatically unless you type a new one.
Fixed: some GST-liable sales were showing as GST-free on your BAS — On your BAS worksheet (the periodic report you lodge for GST), sales that hadn’t been given a tax code were being lumped in with genuinely GST-free sales. That understated how much GST you owed. Untagged sales and expenses no longer get silently reclassified as GST-free — instead you’ll see a clear warning on the worksheet so you can tag them correctly before lodging.
Groundwork for Single Touch Payroll reporting
Behind-the-scenes progress toward reporting your pay runs straight to the ATO.
Single Touch Payroll (STP) is the requirement that Australian payroll software report pay events directly to the ATO each pay run. Before Treldy can offer this, it has to pass the ATO’s formal certification testing. This release built the plumbing needed to run that certification safely — a dedicated sandbox mode that talks to the ATO’s test environment instead of live systems, plus stricter validation of employee Tax File Numbers.
There’s no new payroll feature to use yet — this is preparation for STP reporting going live in a future release.
Home page rebuild, assistant redesign & statement import
A big front-door refresh: Home is now a prioritised "Needs you" inbox, the AI assistant got a full visual overhaul, and you can now import bank statements straight from a PDF or CSV.
New Home: the "Needs you" inbox — Instead of a generic dashboard, Home now leads with a plain-English greeting, a simple cash/owed/owe summary, and a focused list of the things actually waiting on you — overdue invoices, bills to pay, bank lines to review, and pay runs awaiting approval or posting.
Act right from the inbox — Confirm a suggested bank transaction category or send an invoice reminder directly from a Home card, without leaving the page.
Import bank statements from PDF or CSV — Upload a bank statement file on the Bank page and Treldy’s assistant reads it, extracts the transactions, and adds them to your feed — no manual entry, and duplicates are automatically skipped.
Assistant redesign — The AI assistant’s chat now matches the rest of Treldy’s look and feel: cleaner message bubbles, readable formatted replies (lists, tables, bold text) instead of plain text blobs, and friendlier indicators so you can see what it’s doing.
Simpler report date filters — The wall of period buttons on your Reports and BAS pages has been replaced with a single dropdown calendar picker, cutting the clutter and making it quicker to pick a date range.
